Be very watchful of cable conglomerate Comcast. Comcast has refused to honor their Triple Play Promotion of $79.99 to include Blast internet speeds. Later then gave me a credit of $161.95 after I complained, but less than one month later, Comcast removed the credit and never provided me with a Docsis Modem to get the Blast Speeds. Customer service, claimed they did not bill me for cable tv service in July.
I did not order or receive the Triple Play service until July 28, 2012 and that was a botched cable tv installation. Two days ago, I was sent a bill for $98.63 for September. If I have a credit of $161.95, why am I seeing any kind of bill? Corporate Escalations rep, Justin Biehl stated over the phone, you won’t see a bill for a while. I’ve contacted the corporate office but they just keep passing the buck. This ignorant Justin Biehl is a liar, who removed the credit and falsifies documentation, claiming the service technician came to my home and checked my internet, all the wires and the 3 year old modem I have is working fine. A LIE. He also removed the $161.95 credit from my account and left a belligerent message in my voice mail, which I saved and did a print screen of the credit. The only installations done at my property were botched cable service. Trying to contact his manager Winston Beckford was useless.
Always check your account online and do a print screen immediately. The next time you log in it will not be the same bill. The quality of the Comcast’s picture, even in HD is poor. Comcast is loosing business in Philadelphia to Verizon Fios and satellite providers.
I contacted a consumer agency and a local tv consumer reporter to get to the bottom of this, but also to expose Comcast for the frauds they are!
